The Tribeca loft renovation included a strategic reconfiguration and renovation of approximately 2600 square feet of existing residential space in a pre-war former industrial building in the Tribeca neighborhood of lower Manhattan. The clients, a contemporary art dealer and art restorer, sought to create a re-imagined space equally capable of hosting large gatherings, intimate living, and a space for exhibiting a substantial collection of internationally recognized artist’s pieces and site-specific installations. An expanded kitchen, bespoke library, and living space anchored the design features. Functional spaces including laundry, pantry, and walk-in closets rounded out the updates. Custom signature design elements included a new Nero Marquina marble fireplace surround and exquisitely detailed modern library door and hardware
